I have a 3 wheeler that my brother and I used to race.

A really nice set of Cleveland golf clubs, and a nice Puma golf bag.

Evening routine?

Kicking back at the house with a Budweiser and friends.

What do you drive off the track? How diligent are you with your off-track autos maintenance?

I have a new 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck, they take care of the maintenance for me at my shop. I do wash it myself, dirty cars drive me crazy.

What's something people don't know about your crew chief [or driver, respectively]?

That he is an avid racer too. He is a huge Florida Gators fan as well.

Best part of your job?

I get to drive race cars each weekend.

When did you join the team?

2004 was my rookie season in the Cup series.

Favorite track?

Atlanta, because you can run anywhere on the track.

Pre-race ritual?

I have some sponsor appearances, drivers meeting, then back to my bus for lunch, then go to the car for the race.

What has been your most memorable moment on the track?

Winning the Coke 600, twice.

Who is your mentor?

My Dad for sure.

How long have you worked with [driver/crew chief]?

This is my 4th season working with Kenny Francis.

Why do you use Valvoline in your personal car?

It's the best, period.

I was an engineer at Yates Racing.

Favorite recent gift?

Kasey brought Tim Tebow by the hauler before the race in Daytona. I'm a big Florida Gators fan, so that was cool.

Evening routine?

Dinner, then thinking about ways to improve our race cars

Morning routine?

Get to the race track early, usually catch breakfast at McDonald's on the way to the track.

What do you drive off the track? How diligent are you with your off-track autos maintenance?

Dodge Ram 2500. We keep it in good shape.

What's something people don't know about your crew chief [or driver, respectively]?

Kasey Kahne is a fierce competitor.

Team meeting before the race, call home, head to pit road.

What has been your most memorable moment on the track?

Sitting on the Daytona 500 pole in our first race as a team in 2001 .

My Dad
