Kenseth Leads Team Valvoline in Homestead Qualifying

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (Nov. 14, 2008) -- Team Valvoline will start four drivers inside the top 10 for Sunday's Sprint Cup season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Leading the Big V attack Friday was Matt Kenseth with the third fastest qualifying speed (171.429 mph) at the 1.5-mile oval. Trailing Kenseth in the top-10 were Carl Edwards (fourth), David Ragan (sixth) and Jamie McMurray (seventh).

Kenseth equaled his best starting position of the season -- he also qualified third at Kansas Speedway in September.

The pole winner was David Reutimann (171.636), his first career No. 1 starting berth. Rounding out the top-five in order were: Scott Speed, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick.

Sunday's Ford 400 will be televised on ABC, beginning with a prerace show at 3 p.m. ET.
